Christofle announces a 3-year global strategic partnership with OneChain to optimize its supply chain
Christofle, an emblematic house of French goldsmithing expertise, announces a three-year global strategic partnership with Onechain
Christofle, an emblematic house of French goldsmithing expertise, announces a three-year global strategic partnership with Onechain, the next-generation transport management software (TMS). This partnership, which covers all subsidiaries and the network of partners, aims to fully optimize Christofle's supply chain management while reducing its carbon emissions.
Christofle announces that it has chosen the new generation OneChain transport management software to optimize and manage its logistics chain as part of a 3-year global strategic partnership.
The objective of this partnership is to make Christofle's supply chain integrated and autonomous. OneChain allows Christofle to choose its transport providers while improving its logistics processes. The partnership covers all of the house's subsidiaries and points of sale (France, United States, United States, Japan, China, Latin America) as well as Christofle's partner warehouse located in Caudebec-lès-Elbeuf (Seine-Maritime).
Thanks to OneChain's AI-powered functionalities, Christofle teams will be able to focus on their core business while optimizing logistics costs and reducing CO2 emissions related to international transport.
The partnership between Christofle and OneChain covers three fields of action.
- The deployment of the OneChain TMS
OneChain is made available to around fifty Christofle employees involved in transport (warehouses, subsidiaries, Customer Support teams, points of sale) around the world (France, United States, Japan, Japan, Japan, Japan, China, China, Latin America). The tool allows the end-to-end management of supplies and shipments through a single collaborative space. OneChain also allows real-time monitoring of transport, which offers teams maximum visibility on the supply chain.
By eliminating double-entry, OneChain significantly reduces the flow of emails exchanged by teams. Over a year, nearly 8,000 emails will be avoided, which represents a gain of 70% of the time allocated to transport management.
Full financial, operational and carbon reporting is available to teams allowing Christofle to optimize its supply chain and achieve its decarbonization goals.
- Dedicated support on customs compliance by OneChain
This support includes a review of the database of HS and HTS codes used by all entities of the house (France, United States, Asia, Latin America). This database is fed by customs monitoring, including the continued compliance of the HS Code database and the monitoring of the ratifications of preferential customs agreements via the OneChain platform.
At the same time, Christofle teams benefit from regular training on changes in customs rules.
- Optimizing the transport scheme thanks to OneChain
Following a joint audit of the shipping process, a map of Christofle's entire export transport scheme was established. It made it possible to establish a transformation plan based on the deployment of OneChain to increase customer satisfaction at destination and operational performance.
Emilie Viargues Metge, CEO of Christofle declares:
“Our partnership with OneChain marks the start of a major transformation of Christofle's supply chain. With OneChain, the Christofle teams will be able to focus on their core business, customer satisfaction.”
Baudouin de Dreuille, CEO of OneChain declares:
“We are proud to support Christofle in a profound transformation of its supply chain, with an emphasis on operational excellence and the decarbonization of transport. This partnership represents a crucial step in the development of OneChain, which demonstrates our ability to meet high standards of requirement.”
