Christofle, the iconic French silversmith, announces a three-year global strategic partnership with OneChain

Christofle, the iconic French silversmith, announces a three-year global strategic partnership with OneChain, the next-generation Transport Management System (TMS). This partnership, which covers all subsidiaries and the partner network, aims to fully optimize Christofle’s supply chain management while reducing its carbon emissions.

Christofle has announced that it has selected the next-generation transport management software OneChain to optimize and oversee its supply chain as part of a 3-year global strategic partnership.

The objective of this partnership is to make Christofle’s supply chain integrated and autonomous. OneChain enables Christofle to select its transport carriers while improving its logistics processes. The partnership covers all of the company’s subsidiaries and points of sale (France, United States, Japan, China, Latin America) as well as Christofle’s partner warehouse located in Caudebec-lès-Elbeuf (Seine-Maritime, France).

Thanks to OneChain’s AI-powered features, Christofle’s teams will be able to focus on their core business while optimizing logistics costs and reducing CO2 emissions from international transport.

The partnership between Christofle and OneChain covers three areas of action.

1. Deployment of the OneChain TMS

OneChain is being rolled out to approximately fifty Christofle employees involved in transport operations (warehouses, subsidiaries, Customer Support teams, points of sale) across the globe (France, United States, Japan, China, Latin America). The tool enables end-to-end management of procurement and shipments through a single collaborative workspace. OneChain also provides real-time shipment tracking, giving teams maximum visibility over the supply chain.

By eliminating duplicate data entry, OneChain significantly reduces the volume of emails exchanged by teams. Over the course of a year, nearly 8,000 emails will be avoided, representing a 70% time savings on transport management tasks.

Comprehensive financial, operational, and carbon reporting is made available to teams, enabling Christofle to optimize its supply chain and achieve its decarbonization goals.

2. Dedicated Customs Compliance Support from OneChain

This support includes a review of the HS and HTS code database used by all of the company’s entities (France, United States, Asia, Latin America). This database is maintained through ongoing customs monitoring, including continuous HS code compliance and tracking of preferential trade agreement ratifications via the OneChain platform.

At the same time, Christofle’s teams benefit from regular training sessions on evolving customs regulations.

3. Transport Network Optimization Powered by OneChain

Following a joint audit of the shipping process, a complete mapping of Christofle’s export transport network was established. This led to a transformation plan leveraging the OneChain deployment to increase customer satisfaction at destination and operational performance.
